lagging behind the European average of 64%. Over 5 years, the integration of digital technologies into the life of the country has grown by 27.6%: in 2021, the Portuguese index is 36.6, the European
average is 37.6. The leader of Europe is Finland, 59.5, the outsider is
Bulgaria, 20.5.

Portugal ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states.

Broadband is available in rural areas of the country, which has had a positive impact on the development of companies with hybrid work.
In the EU, the share of broadband mobile access (speed 2100 Mb/sec) is on average equal to 34%. In just one year, Portugal has increased the share of mobile access from 56 to 62.78%: third place
in Europe. For comparison: accessibility leader Sweden 67.28%, Outsider Greece 2.73%.

• artificial intelligence: attracting new companies, collaboration of science and business, training, integration AI in government and commercial activities;
• cyberspace security based on the National Center for Decorative Sibersegurance (CNCS);
• advanced computing: creating a unified national network
